TOWARDS SUMMER 2010
Just like i predicted on my earlier writings, it has been busy and very challenging spring. I really have been struggling to keep my schedules in place. Even though some design was handed a bit late, i think there is some satisfied clients with new designs.

Incoming summer looks good, few really interesting projects coming and still trying to find something more to get my calendar fully booked. Much more easier to sleep your nights when you know that there is some nice markings in your calendar.

I CAN SEE QUITE A BUSY SPRING
A lot have been happening since my last post. Few weeks ago i was almoust certain that i have no projects in Road Racing this year, but then i got some phonecalls and made some nice contracts with AJO Motorsport (MotoGP), Yamaha UBD Direct with Nikola and Harms Benjan Racing (WSBK).

AJO Motorsport will launch new site during next week, it will be quite a different AJO people have used to see.

Robbin Harms and his Harms Benjan Racing Team will take few weeks to be ready, schedule was a bit too tight for me. I managed to finish my designs with Harms himself at www.robbinharms.dk.

Yamaha designs are almoust done. Waiting for the laitest comments from leathers, bike and pitbox. Yamaha will be cool red-white design for Nikola Milovanovic.

New clients in Finland: Lic Oy, MAK Oy and Rainset Oy.

HAAJA & ARWO DESIGN OY LUOTSASI LASTENOSASTON LAHJOITUKSEN
Mikkelin keskussairaalan lastenosasto sai tänään 4 000 euron lahjoituksen mikkeliläisiltä yrittäjiltä. Summalla hankitaan Mikkelin keskussairaalan lastenosastolle viihde-elektroniikka ja uusia leluja, joiden avulla parannetaan osaston viihtyvyyttä. Kaikki 12 hoitohuonetta saavat oman DVD-soittimen lastenelokuvien kera. Myös odotushuoneen leluosasto saa täydennystä ja päivitystä.

– Toive tuotelahjoituksesta tuli suoraan Lastenosaston ylilääkäri Marjut Salonvaaralta. Aikataulullisista syistä lahjoitus ojennettiin shekkinä, jolla lastenosasto voi itse tehdä "hankinnat" tarpeidensa mukaisesti, kertoo hankkeen puuhamies Haaja & Arwo Design Oy:n toimitusjohtaja Jesse Haaja.

Hän on kerännyt yhdessä asiakkaiden ja yhteistyökumppaneiden kanssa. Mukana lahjoituksessa ovat Creo3 Oy, Mikkelin Mikaeli Oy, Eulux Oy, LVI-Kaari Oy, Enerplan Oy, Wilmert Oy, Jennacon Oy, Mahl ry, Etelä-Savon Hydrauliikkakeskus Oy, Etelä-Savon Kirjapaino Oy ja Haaja & Arwo Design Oy. Expert Mikkeli toimii elektroniikkatoimittajana. Myös Länsi-Savo toimii lahjoituskumppanina.

Jesse Haaja oli yksi pääjärjestäjistä vuosi takaperin järjestetyssä Hyväntekeväisyys tapahtumassa, jossa Mikkeliläinen II-divisioonan jääkiekkojoukkue Hydraulic Oilers ja Suomen amputoitujen maajoukkue keräsivät lastenosastolle yli 18 000 euroa joululahjaksi. Haaja lupaa jatkaa lahjoitusperinnettään jatkossakin.

HOW TIME FLIES
Can't believe that it's almoust 3 months since my last post! Time really flies when you are working most of your time. Some might say that it's sad, but i say "me like it". This autumn i have been working with projects i cant unfortunately show you. Subcontracting is good and solid way to keep business running, but it would be really nice to parade some designs, especially because few of those are huge brand and one of the best designs i have ever made.

During these next two weeks i will upload couple of new projects online, or i hope i will. The Gergiev Festival, Mipro Group, Savon Suksistudio (Beta version already online) and Baxit are the ones what i've been preparing for launch. These are all very interesting designs and im going to be quite proud to present them. Cant wait, hear ya!

Really nice project with Pekka Nokelainen, who made identity design to AAVA concept. My job was to ennoble Pekka's original idea for the web environment. I think it works nicely!
